From Februaty 2 to 7, a group of students from the Sant Josep Obrer (Spain), visited the Canossa Campus in Italy as part of the European Values and Migration (EUAMI) project.
This initiative underscores the significance of Erasmus exchanges in fostering a sense of European identity, promoting cultural understanding, and providing firsthand experiences of what it means to be European citizens.
The EUAMI project aims to create an innovative learning environment where students are the protagonists, encouraging cooperative learning and connecting with their motivations. It emphasizes the importance of understanding migration by engaging students in discussions that challenge their perceptions with real data, fostering critical thinking and empathy.

This approach not only broadens their knowledge but also cultivates a deeper appreciation for the complexities of migration within Europe.
By engaging directly with peers from different countries, students experience diverse cultures and educational systems, breaking down stereotypes and building mutual respect.
These interactions lay the foundation for a united Europe, where young people see themselves as part of a larger community beyond their national borders.
Moreover, these exchanges provide students with the opportunity to immerse themselves in different cultural contexts, enhancing their language skills and intercultural competencies. Living and studying in a foreign country challenges them to adapt and grow, fostering resilience and open-mindedness.
